Today we find ourselves hungry and wanting to try the “Brunch Life.” Since I can remember I’ve always heard people inviting each other to brunch but never knew what “Brunch” really meant. I use to always say to myself why are they calling it brunch?, isn’t it breakfast?” \ Well today I find out what “Brunch” is all about, thanks to Anthony’s David at 953 Bloomfield St, in Hoboken, NJ.
I found Anthony’s David on Google. I simply searched brunch near me and Anthony’s David popped up with 4.25 stars, so we went with it and we are happy we did. When you walk in, you’re greeted with a simple sign that asks you to wait to be seated. The wait was no more than 2 mins, in which they asked if we will be eating inside or out. Even though it was a sunny day, it was still a little chilly so we decided to dine inside by the window. When we sat down we looked at the menu that featured benedict’s, burgers and salads we realized it was a BYOB and what’s a brunch without mimosa? So I ran to the nearest liquor store for the champagne. It took me like 10 mins since the liquor store was near by. Once I got back we waited like 15 mins to place our orders (it felt longer because my mouth was watering for the eggs Benedict) but it was okay. Our waitress was calm, not extremely attentive to us but it was okay as I noticed she was slammed. Being a former waitress I understand being slammed and trying to make sure everyone was happy. So 10 mins later our food arrived and it was everything I heard a brunch meal is suppose to be. My eggs Benedict was delish and Eddie’s french toast Benedict was even better. Basically everything was Sundaybrunch approved by this newbie.
Now for the report card
